CHIKURIN HOUSE

CHIKURIN HOUSE: A Space for Prosperity and Tranquility

A house designed to embody peace, warmth, and the flourishing of life. Inspired by the Japanese word 竹林 (Chikurin), meaning “bamboo forest,” this house strikes a perfect balance between being a peaceful residence and a thriving business space for the family.

The deeper meaning of the design is rooted in the auspicious symbolism of bamboo, which represents elegance, abundance, and generosity. This house is crafted to foster harmony in both family life and business growth, promoting prosperity and unity.

Symbolism in Every Detail

The front of the building is designed with a Nordic gable roof, adorned with light-toned wooden slats symbolizing tall bamboo stalks reaching for the sky. The stone-clad walls, featuring circular shapes, represent the sun—an auspicious sign of new beginnings and positive energy.
